Take a closer look

…at the world around you

Right now, what in your world inspires you to take a closer look? Maybe it’s the words in a blog your writing, the vegetables your cleaning for a meal, the autumn leaves that surround you on a walk. For a child, discovery happens in the moment, there is no past or future. It’s what’s right in front of you in the now. Imagine what’s going through the child’s mind as he views the flower through a magnifying glass. What do you think he sees?

Artist, Rob Kesseler, took taking a closer look at the natural world around him to the next level using photography and phytopia. Phytopia reveals a hidden world lying beyond the scope of the human eye. Through his art, he brings a new perspective to nature’s design for the viewer. It’s beauty, color, texture, brilliant and exquisite design. He shares he microscopic world of seeds in his book in Seeds, Time Capsules of Life. Visit Art the Science blog where Rob shares in an interview what inspires him and the materials he uses to create his artwork.

Imagine this beauty all around us every day even though we are not seeing it with the human eye. It’s there. Wow!
